The data on this website comes from the public domain.
- Epidemiologic data comes from Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program
- Immunohistochemical data comes from Human Protein Atlas and PubMed
- The disease classification system comes from World Health Organization
- The visualization is done in d3.js
Who is this for?
The site is a data-driven tool to aid pathologists in (1) constructing a differential, and then (2) deciding what IHCs to order.
Why did we build this?
The promise of Precision Medicine rests on the shoulders of machine learning and thus Big Data. This site is our small first step in pursuit of that goal, which can only be realized if physicians embrace Big Data.
Who are we?
An MD and a PhD, both of whom are engineers at heart.
